ABOUT ME
ABOUT ME
Hi, my name is Marisa Uribe, and I am a 25-year-old classically trained vocalist with a lifelong love for singing. Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I began studying voice professionally at a young age, driven by a genuine passion for the art of singing. Through my classical training, I developed a strong foundation in sight-reading, vocal technique, and healthy vocal mechanics, skills that continue to shape every performance I give.
During high school, I spent four years as a member of the Chamber Singers, performing featured solos, participating in numerous honor choirs, and gaining invaluable live performance experience. I went on to pursue my degree in music at Azusa Pacific University, where I received intensive training in vocal performance, music theory, musicianship, ear training, and music history. This education gave me a deep appreciation for music across styles and a well-rounded perspective as a performer.
Today, I am honored to sing for weddings, Catholic liturgies, church services, funerals, and special events, where music plays such a meaningful role. While my foundation is rooted in classical repertoire, I also bring a contemporary and commercial background, allowing me to thoughtfully tailor each performance to the tone and vision of the event. I approach every occasion with care, professionalism, and heart, and I would love the opportunity to help make your next event truly unforgettable!
